Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel
Bioderma H20 Sensibio
I think I've got this one down. I like to keep things simple when it comes to removing make-up; I don't want to dread going into the bathroom at the end of the day so I try to find products that are minimal fuss and good at what they do. Aside from one or two additional products I switch in and out on a trial basis, two of these are super favourites I would be hard-pressed to change.
I've been trying out the Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel and I'm not sure if I am feeling it. The gel formula is incredibly gentle, leaves your skin soft, and never makes it oily. But I do find it doesn't remove everything, there's always a little make-up residue left over. When Bioderma H20 Sensibio does its job so well I'm left wondering if I really need this extra step in my routine.
Bioderma H20 Sensibio is a water-based, fragrance- and alcohol-free formula and it is a total dream when it comes to removing make-up. It isn't drying, if you're in a rush you don't need to rinse your face (only pat it dry), and has soothing ingredients that you can definitely feel the benefit of. The only negative I have to say about this is I seem to use it up really fast and buying in the UK can be an absolute pain.
Bio-Oil is one of those products I think everyone should own. One small bottle seems to last forever and can be used in different ways for various things. It helps re-hydrate skin, balances out uneven skin tone, and if you have scars or stretch marks it can help those too.
What are the make-up removal products that make or break your routine?
