Bioderma Sensibio H2O Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré
Roger & Gallet Rose Imaginaire Eau Fraiche
NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Multi Usage Dry Oil
Originally I wanted to visit Paris for the dead animals and old paintings but then I discovered the French Pharmacie. These little treasure troves are everywhere providing everything from medicine to skincare to make-up, falling somewhere inbetween a chemist and a health shop and absolutely nothing like our UK counterparts.
The standard purchase when one travels to France is anything made by Bioderma but specifically Bioderma Sensibio H2O, which I picked up as a double pack along with Bioderma Sebium H2O. These are micellar cleansing solutions, formulated to be gentle on the skin, and firm staples of my daily skincare routine.
Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré is a 3-in-1 moisturiser for everyday use; packed with essential fatty acids and vitamins, which help to hydrate, nourish, and plump the skin, protecting against environmental aggressors. Apparently this can be used as a primer, moisturiser, and a make-up remover, which I suppose has been the cause of its cult status.
Homeoplasmine is a plant-based, antiseptic and decongestant healing ointment for irritations, abrasions, superficial wounds, mild burns, and chapped skin. You can put it on your nipples and your lips too. Sounds sexy right? It's a French version of Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream except non-greasy, matte and homeopathic.
I never stray from my beloved Christian Dior J'adore Voile de Parfum, never - I don't even so much as look at other perfumes. So this next purchase was a big deal for me; everyday I spray J'adore on, no matter the occasion, and something kept telling me a quick trip to the supermarket wasn't deserving of such a divine perfume. Roger & Gallet Rose Imaginaire Eau Fraiche is "inspired by the wonders of nature, creating a fragrance of dreams and mystery" - oh my! - this is not a perfume, this is "a bewitching floral elixir to enchant body and mind." I jest but this 'fragrant water spray' is totally dreamy; a beautiful mix of strawberries, tangerine, jasmine, violet, sandalwood, and patchouli - soft, fragrant, floral, and not even a tiny bit sickly sweet just absolutely beautiful.
I am so into skincare, natural ingredients, and oils you can rub all over your body. NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Multi Usage Dry Oil was the obvious choice since 98.1% of the ingredients are of natural origin, and the oil itself is formulated to nourish, repair, and soften the face, body, and hair.
