This was one of those eBay purchases where you place a bid and then.. change your mind after it's too late. This happens far more frequently than I care to admit. However, I have never been so thrilled with a regretful purchase.
Described by NARS as a "soft rose with golden shimmer" I'd say it was more of a terrifyingly deep raspberry. When applied this blusher turns from an alarming red to a soft berry hue, giving the warmth of a genuine blush. There is no obvious shimmer when buffed onto the skin, creating a smooth matte finish, and the finely milled powder creates a truly natural glow. A little stiff to pick up with a brush this works in its favour by allowing you to build colour gradually, making it difficult to ever be too heavy handed.
After my initial reservations, I've been using NARS Outlaw on a regular (every single day) basis. The warmth it adds to my complexion and the versatility of buildable colour - from a subtle glow or full flush - is probably the best I've ever experienced.
What do you think of NARS Outlaw?
