The Best Books of 2015

I didn't read anywhere near as many books this year as I had planned too. Next year I'm not setting myself a reading goal and instead I'm simply aiming to read as many books as I have time for. I'll be focusing on non-fiction and folklore - two genres I'm super passionate about - and new releases.

As for 2015, I wasn't overwhelmed by the books I chose to read but there were a few favourites worth sharing - I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I did.

#1 Dept of Speculation by Jenny Offill
#2 H is for Hawk by Helen Macdonald
#3 Congratulations, by the way: Some Thoughts on Kindness by George Saunders
#4 Giovanni’s Room by James Baldwin
#5 Forensics: What Bugs, Burns, Prints, DNA and More Tell Us About Crime by Val McDermid

The Best Books of 2015

#6 Bad Feminist by Roxane Gay
#7 Black Hole by Charles Burns
#8 You Are Now Less Dumb by David McRaney
#9 Music for Torching by A.M. Homes
